I was lucky enough to be commissioned by Traveller, part of The Age/Sydney Morning Herald, to write about the experience of walking across the empty bay from Normandy to Mont Saint-Michel in Brittany.

Brittany, or Bretagne, is my second home, so it was lovely to be able to share such a magical part of it with an Australian audience. Not to mention alerting readers to the existence of actual, potentially fatal quicksand in the heart of a tourist hot spot!

I have another piece lined up for Traveller as well, and hope to do more travel writing. It’s always such a fun adventure.
