I’m really thrilled to have started working with the Mirabel Foundation on their media and comms.
Mirabel is a brilliant charity, now 25 years old. It is dedicated to supporting children orphaned or abandoned due to their parents being lost to illicit drugs, and their carers. These kids are now in kinship care (which means, extended family – usually a grandparent, or grandparents).
Mirabel provides support in all kinds of practical, pragmatic ways as well as being a giant shoulder for the carers and kids to lean on. It’s so wonderful to be able to offer my services in any way to help their mission.
To that end, we just completed a newsletter, and pushed off that into a longer online article about the life the kinship carers are living and why they need all of our support.
