I recently wrote a piece for the Anex Bulletin, for needle and exchange workers, looking at the drug, Pregabalin, which is raising concerns among the drug community.
It seemed, as a non-opioid, that Pregabalin (or Lyrica, to use its more common street/pharmacy name) was a brilliant non-addictive pain relief alternative when it was introduced, but then a team of researchers started digging into data from Victorian ambulance call-outs and noticed a disturbing trend.
