For several years, I have repeatedly visited remote Lady Elliot Island off the coast of Queensland (and joined a boat trip into the Myanmar Sea, off Thailand) to film the magnificent, giant manta rays (as above. Yes, that’s me.).
My journalism has been covering the work of Project Manta, interviewing Dr Kathy Townsend and other manta experts, for several media clients.
I am currently working with a leading Australian VR cameraman to create a virtual reality, 360-degree narrative film of what it’s like to dive with mantas.
